Hot Weather and Tennis

Hot Weather and Tennis

Seriously, this next class was a WARM one but it’s too much fun to miss just because of a little heat. As long as you bring plenty of water, you stay hydrated and burn some calories at the same time.

One of the best things about this class is that not only are we learning from some of the most fun people, but games are going along beside us where you can watch experienced players take their swings, and then attempt to imitate that.

Follow thru is a big component, even though our brains tend to hit the brakes as soon as we hit the ball. Putting follow thru together with racquet direction is giving us some impressive results sometimes.

The entire class enjoys competing but encouraging each other at the same time, and this is the best environment to learn a sport you can play the rest of your life.

Come join us soon!

Yuba City Racquet Clulb is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of circumstance and ability. We aim to adhere as closely as possible to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0, Level AA), published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make Web content more accessible for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines will help make the web more user friendly to everyone. Whilst Yuba City Racquet Clulb strives to adhere to the guidelines and standards for accessibility, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website and we are currently working to achieve this. Be aware that due to the dynamic nature of the website, minor issues may occasionally occur as it is updated regularly. We are continually seeking out solutions that will bring all areas of the site up to the same level of overall web accessibility.

If you have any comments and or suggestions relating to improving the accessibility of our site, please don't hesitate to contact our accessibility coordinator by email at web@ycrc.com. Your feedback will help us make improvements.
