New Small Group Training Class - "FINISH LINE"
Instructor: Certified Personal Trainer, Aubrey Lingley
Full body cardio workout | Improve physical performance and endurance
Workouts will focus on building aerobic base through progressive runs, hill training and proper gait mechanics that will burn fat and get you ready for a 5K or other endurance event.
FINISH LINE Information Session:
Sat 3/7 @12pm (about 30 min, informational only) | Meet upstairs at the Club. In this session we will cover the basics about 5K, 10K and obstacle races and discuss the best ways to train for an event.
Following the information session there will be 8 free pilot spots for our new small group class called FINISH LINE. Reserve your spot at the end of the lecture. Aubrey has also put together a list of all local runs to view. If anyone has any groups they run with, we would like to start a YCRC group!Guest are welcome!
FINISH LINE will be held 3/11-4/2 on Wednesdays at 9:00am and Thursdays at 5:30pm. ONLY 4 spots per each time slot. There will be a waiting list after they are filled. This is no cost to the member but they MUST attend all 4 weeks to be eligible and provide feed back.
If successful, after the 4 week pilot, there will be an 8-week program with more time slots!
Meet Aubrey! In 2019, Aubrey participated in 9 5K events including a Spartan Sprint and the Great Cycle Challenge. While some of the events are purely for enjoyment, Aubrey also participates in multiple events for various charities including Childhood Cancer, Epilepsy, and Alzheimer's. This year will be full of even more events, longer distances, and new causes.
