Dan spent twenty two years working for the state of California. The majority of his career was in law enforcement with an emphasis on training. Before his retirement last year he managed all training for his department including acting as the director for a law enforcement academy. He has trained individuals in both resistance training and nutrition for almost 15 years and holds certifications as a Law Enforcement Physical Fitness Instructor, and as a personal trainer with The National Academy of Sports Medicine. Dan says "my two passions are teaching health and wellness and self
defense. I am honored to have the opportunity to share that passion here
at YCRC. Fitness is composed of nutrition, resistance training and
cardiovascular training. If you are lacking in any one area, you will
always struggle to meet your fitness goals."
