Becky Ray is our Director of Sales and Marketing. She procures new memberships and helps current members with any changes to their existing memberships. Born and raised in Yuba City, Becky worked six years for us until 1997, when she relocated to Chico to pursue her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and a Paralegal Certificate as well. She returned to us in August of 2002 and began her current position in September of 2003. Her hobbies include spending time with her friends and family, tennis, shopping, movies, and reading. "I love Yuba City," she says, "because of my great family, friends and the Racquet Club!"
John was 10 years old when he began playing tennis at the Yuba City Racquet and Health Club. He grew up in the YCRC junior programs and thanks to their excellent coaching, he played tennis for Sutter Union High School. John went on to play singles and doubles for the Sonoma State Men's Tennis Team while he attended college as a Sociology major. After coaching tennis in various Sonoma County tennis clubs, while also co-teaching an introduction to tennis class for Sonoma State University, John has returned to Sutter County to join the great coaching staff at the YCRC.

Terry Townsend is our Maintenance Director here at the Yuba City Racquet Club, having been with us since October 1st of 2001. Terry has very quickly become an invaluable asset to the staff as we see him spear heading many projects that have been troublesome in the past and working with them till they are truly taken care of. He attends classes as he can to supplement his knowledge of things like chemicals and electrical. Terry has lived in our area for the last ten years, but hails to us from the Redwood City, California area where he was born. After graduating high school, Terry attended DeAnza College in Cupertino (AS), and then San Jose State University majoring in Business, Sales and Marketing. Terry has a fabulous wife Tarey and two daughters Ashley and Marissa, who enjoy accompanying Terry camping, hiking, fishing, riding horses, raising birds, playing tennis and landscaping.
